About

My name is John Bartholdi, and I'm an incarnated Nootropicologist 🙂

My passion for the nootropic lifestyle has led me to start Nootropicology, a blog where I explore the scientific research revolving around nootropics and cognitive enhancers, as well as trying them out on my own body and sharing my experience with you.

I've been interested in the nootropic lifestyle ever since I started taking academic courses in psychopharmacology and neuroscience in 2009.

I'm addicted to spreadsheets and have a specific interest on the neurocognition-enhancing effects of various compounds.

When I started testing out some supplements myself I realized that it was possible to enhance my own cognition without relying on pharmaceutical interventions. This led me to pursue further studies in nootropics as well as in biological psychology, neuroethics and biohacking in general.

I try to share my knowledge with people who might be interested in cognitive enhancement, and especially those who don't want to rely on pharma-based interventions. I'm happy that so many people seem to be interested in this subject and I'm eager to help you guys get the most out of your stacks.

You can find me on social media (see below); feel free to send me a message if you have any questions regarding nootropics, biohacking, neuropsychology and the like.

Enjoy! 🙂
